Baby, It’s Cold Inside

I’m trying to save money by heating only a room or two rather than the whole house. I have the thermostat set to ‘Eco’ mode, and I knew I was in trouble when I heard the heater running this morning. Even though it’s early afternoon, it’s still damn cold inside, as this picture attests.

I’m going to crawl back into bed. There are a number of things I’d like to do, most of which involve sitting at my desk, but I’m still too sore from Friday’s fall. I’m still bruised  and bloodied from that, but the area most affected seems to be around my tailbone, and even with a good gel cushion it still hurts like a MFer. Sitting on the toilet isn’t bad, which leads me to wonder if one of those donut seat cushions would be a good idea. Any idea where to find those?

I got one from Amazon, it was just foam though and I didn't love it. You could try near the pharmacy at a grocery store, don't think I've seen one though.

If you want to avoid your images getting Kinja’d, make sure you’re rotating the pixels physically, not by using EXIF. Most browsers don’t care about EXIF at all, and most devices will set a rotation in EXIF to save on processing time.

If you have one of the small, locally owned pharmacies near by you may want to check there. They often have a section for home medical supplies that should have a few options.

Hopefully you start feeling better soon.
